This was my first time sending Elfy to a boarding and I was initially quite worried. There were so many pros and cons to consider, and I wasn’t sure whether to choose an open concept or an individual setup. That was until I came across Pooch Nannies. What I love about Pooch Nannies is that they allow the dogs to roam freely from 8am to 8pm, and then rest in individual cubicles from 8pm to 8am and I can able to monitored by live CCTV. It gave me peace of mind knowing that Elfy wouldn’t be confined to a cubicle all day. Tammie, one of the staff members, has been incredibly helpful in updating me and helping Elfy adjust to the new environment. Although she looks young, her experience as a furkid owner really shows. She gave me great insights into Elfy’s behavior and how he was settling in. I’m really glad I found Pooch Nannies, and I’m hopeful that Elfy will feel even more comfortable during his next stay!

Complete Lack of Transparency and Accountability My friend’s dog passed away while boarding at Pooch Nannies. I was closely involved, and we went through the CCTV footage together. Based on what we observed, there appeared to be inconsistencies, which led to him seeking clarification. However, from what I witnessed, his questions were all shut down. The response given was that the matter was already under investigation and that the funeral arrangements had been covered. It came across as a refusal to provide further explanation, leaving him in the dark. I find this deeply concerning. In a situation involving the loss of a pet, it is not unreasonable to expect clear communication and accountability. From what I observed, there was a lack of openness in addressing valid questions. Watching my friend go through this has been extremely upsetting. I strongly urge the business to reflect on how such situations are handled, because pet owners deserve transparency, answers, and respect during such difficult times.

Pooch Nannies is awesome! It’s our first time sending our puppy to pet boarding, we were worried and anxious but Sarah assured us and throughout my puppy’s stay, she sent daily updates and pictures and videos of her playing and eating. These gave us a peace of mind while travelling. My puppy had a great time there and we will definitely send her there when we go travelling. Thank you Pooch Nannies!
