This historical listing recorded a mid-year market at Wheeler's Estate on 20 June 2026. The edition has passed. Its original programme, vendor count and admission conditions were not recovered in the 15 September review. The saved ticket link describes a mid-year party; it could not be retrieved to establish that it matched this market. Do not treat it as a current RSVP requirement.
Planning a future visit
Check Wheeler's Estate's current information for the exact event, booking terms and permitted pet area. The earlier claims of guaranteed water bowls, a cooler microclimate and suitability for reactive dogs were unsupported and have been removed. An outdoor market's crowding, noise and conditions need assessing for your own dog.
Transport correction
The previous suggestion to take an ordinary pet dog on bus 102 was incorrect. Arrange transport that explicitly accepts your pet. The Ministry of Transport's 4 August 2026 reply describes consultation on possible public-transport access and points owners to pet-friendly ride-hailing in the meantime; it does not announce permission for pets on buses.
