1918 Heritage Bar at The Alkaff Mansion offers an outdoor-table option for an evening with your dog. Its own FAQ welcomes pets in outdoor seating. That permission does not extend to the mansion's indoor rooms or every other business at the address.
Book for the dog as well
When reserving, say that a dog will be joining you and ask for the outdoor area. Check whether a private function or entertainment will change the seating or sound level on your chosen date. The official exterior photograph gives a sense of the evening setting; it is not a promise that a particular table will be available.
A comfortable evening
Take a water bowl, waste bags and a mat your dog recognises. Ask for enough space to settle without blocking staff or passing guests. A shorter visit can be a better first try than committing to a whole evening. If conversation, music or nearby dogs make settling difficult, leave before your dog becomes distressed.
