iO Italian Osteria is at HillV2, 4 Hillview Rise, unit 02-01. Its restaurant and booking material describes Italian food including house-made bread, pasta and porchetta, but the sources reviewed did not establish a current dog policy for this Singapore branch. The earlier description promised a dog terrace, large-dog access and supplied water without adequate evidence. Ask the restaurant directly whether your dog can join you, which tables are permitted and whether any size or service restrictions apply. The booking platform warns that special requests are not guaranteed, so a note added to a reservation is not the same as confirmed pet admission. A similarly named Bangkok branch’s pet policy cannot be transferred here.

We had lunch at IO Italian Osteria at HillV2 and were really impressed by the quality of the food. The ravioli was beautifully made with great depth of flavour, the braised beef cheek was tender, and the truffle schiacciata was aromatic and addictive. Every dish felt carefully executed and comforting. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Mega and Jit were exceptional - warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. They checked in at just the right moments and made sure we were well looked after throughout the meal, and topped up our water regularly. All in all, a wonderful lunch with excellent food and standout service. A restaurant well worth a visit.
Traditional stuffed roman schiacciata (truffle one) is fantastic, crispy and flavourful. Amatriciana (bacon & tomato, this is non-spicy) pasta is simple but done really well. Dolce salata (mixed salad) is yumny and refreshing Skip the prawn & asparagus taglioline though, nothing special imo. Also skip the buttered & fried cod (not pictured) as the batter was way too thick. Place is huge and suitable for groups. Feels like an authentic Italian place. Lovely natural lighting in the daytime.
Great food, amazing service. Staff were prompt and friendly, helpful and also very kind in accommodating to our requests. The pizzas and flatbread were crispy and flavourful, the carbonara was authentic (egg-cheese mix instead of cream) and served al dente, the roasted chicken was wondefully seasoned, very tender and juicy, the burrata and parma ham were very appetising, the mushroom risotto was perfectly done, and the pistachio tiramisu was one of the best we had - it's not too moist, and you can taste the aromatic coffee in the middle. As an avid fan of Italian cuisine, this is one restaurant not to miss. One of the servers also gave my little boy a nice cookie to take away and some complimentary breads during the meal. Except for the part that the place is a little cramped (I don't mind it as I find it rather cosy), everything was great. It's our first dining experience there and definitely not the last. Highly recommended!
