Visiting with your dog

You'll need to leave your dog at home for this one. Resident animals aren't an invitation to bring your own.

A little heads-up before you go
  • The operator's current FAQ says that its renovation removed the outdoor seating area and it can no longer host pets. This supersedes older accounts of pavement seats and water bowls. The cafe remains a business for human customers; this is a pet-admission change, not a closure.

Plan a visit with your pack

TIANN'S at 71 Seng Poh Road remains a Tiong Bahru bakery and cafe, but it is no longer a place to plan a sit-down meal with your dog. Its own FAQ explains that the outdoor seating disappeared during renovation, ending its ability to host pets. Earlier accounts of a couple of pavement seats describe the previous arrangement. Choose another confirmed pet-welcoming cafe for a shared outing; do not arrive expecting staff to recreate those old seats.

If I could give more stars I would! Super nice staff, amazing food and a cozy atmosphere. I’m gluten intolerant and coming here and have the possibility to order everything on the menu made me so happy, haven’t had such good waffles ever! And the sourdough - so good! For a next visit in Singapore this will be the first place I go to, so if you have the chance you shouldn’t miss this place out, highly recommend!

As a celiac, I find it very hard travelling internationally. Finding gems like these truly make life worth living. This is the first time I’ve ever been able to try KFC “Korean Fried Chicken” since it became popularised, and it truly brought a tear to my eye. I’m so grateful for being able to dine here, the staff are lovely, the food is amazing and being able to eat traditional foods finally is an experience I couldn’t thank this place enough for.

Breakfast was excellent. Waffles were fluffy and tasty and well loaded with toppings. Bruschetta bread was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle with tomatoes bursting with flavour. Coffee is smooth and gelato was rich and creamy. Overall a great gluten free cafe.
