Balestier Road shopfront in the Victory Point block; central, easy to combine with the Balestier walk.

What this clinic is specifically known for is Ace Vet Care; routine general practice on the Balestier strip. The team is small generalist team. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.

On hours and scope: Mon-Fri 9.30am - 12.30pm, 2:00 - 4.30pm, 6:00 - 8.30pm; Sat-Sun 9.30am - 12.30pm, 2:00 - 6.30pm. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.

Who this clinic suits: Balestier, Novena, and Whampoa owners. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is 271 Balestier Rd, Victory Point, Singapore 329722, and the booking line is +65 6258 2159.

The small thing nobody mentions: the Victory Point block has paid parking at the back; the front road kerb is short-stay only.

I would like to thank Dr Goh and his team for taking care of my dog, Jovie. I have been following Dr Goh for many years and I always believe the team has the best interest for the animals. Especially Dr Goh gave very good and relevant advice and most importantly he is able to diagnose my furkid illnesses. Thumbs up to Ace Vet ❤️

Vets are seasoned professionals (most over-invested pawrents alr know this) but this also makes a great regular vet: 1. Easy parking is across short intersection at market (nearer than MPJG), drop offs are possible at the culdesac beside it. 2. Wait time okay: I was in and out in 100 mins for a blood test and 2 dog consults. I have ever wasted 3-4 hours at other decent vets for just one dog (rage). Subjective review: Our geriatric golden was blessed to be assigned Dr Goh - our first encounter with him was patient, detailed and concise. I liked how pointed he was in reviewing the dog - no guesswork, only calculated assessments to support how much more scans/testing we might want to consider. No judgement when we opted out haha. I expect to keep coming back as our golden ages. The other good vets in Singapore are all near high demand parallel street parking which leaves me always late or having to drag my old man across hot roads.

I am truly grateful to Dr. Goh, the nurses, and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of my little girl Kopi O 🐶 during her spay. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind, patient, and gentle, which made both Kopi O and me feel comfortable and reassured 💕 The love and attention they gave her really touched my heart, and I knew she was in safe hands 🙏 Dr. Goh is not only very professional but also a very caring veterinarian. All my dogs 🐾 🐾🐾🐾🐾are looked after by him, and each time he has given me helpful advice and guidance. I feel very blessed to have such a good vet whom I can truly trust with my fur kids ❤️ A big thank you as well to the nurses and the whole team for their compassion and professionalism. I am so happy with the experience and deeply thankful for the care and love they have shown 🌸

How this clinic compares nearby

The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Ace Vet Care against its closest neighbours on exactly that.

  • A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
  • In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
  • Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.
