Book the room and pet policy together
Oasia’s dog package uses a Courtyard Premier room with an outdoor deck. A deck is not a private pool. Capella publishes a pet policy for rooms and villas, but pet access excludes pools and in-villa plunge pools. Sofitel’s dog package and Amara’s Pampered Paws offer also require checking the specific room and access conditions.
Open each venue record for its reviewed operator source. Do not infer access to a pool villa from a general pet-stay advertisement, or permission to swim from permission to stay in the room. Ask the hotel to identify the exact bookable product before paying.
Resolve costs and restrictions before payment
Ask for a complete quote covering the dates, number of animals, eligible room, pet fees, taxes and any cleaning charge. Check whether a charge is per night or per stay and whether a second animal is allowed. Old starting prices do not establish the amount for your booking.
Read cancellation and amendment conditions with the pet terms. A package credit may exclude pet food or particular outlets. Save the reply confirming where your dog can accompany you, including dining areas, pathways and any route used to reach the room. Where a package and a general FAQ disagree, request clarification rather than choosing the more generous version.
Make the stay comfortable for the dog
Ask about supervision and whether the dog may ever be left alone. Arrange housekeeping under the actual policy and tell everyone travelling with you how doors, leads and toilet trips will be handled. Familiar bedding and the usual food can make planning simpler, but confirm what the package already provides.
Treat open water as something to manage, not an automatic activity for the dog. Follow the hotel’s access rules and prevent unintended entry. Plan permitted outdoor time around current conditions with water, breaks and an easy return to the room.
Check the journey and meals too
For Sentosa, read the dog-access and transport guide before leaving. General visitor directions may use services that do not accept ordinary pets. Confirm both arrival and return transport.
Choose dining that works under the hotel’s actual pet policy. A room booking does not establish indoor restaurant permission. Ask about outdoor seating, reservations and a backup when rain closes the area. A comfortable stay can centre on a quiet room and short permitted outings without promising pool access.
Quick answers
- Can my dog swim in a private hotel pool?
- Do not assume so. The reviewed records do not establish permission; Capella expressly excludes in-villa plunge pools from pet access.
- Does a private deck mean a pool villa?
- No. Ask for the exact room category and amenities.
- Are the old listed starting fees still valid?
- Get a current itemised quote for your dates and animals.
- Where can I find the source for each policy?
- Each venue links to its current access evidence and full record.
