Hot spots

The fast-spreading, weepy skin sore that can flare up overnight.

A hot spot is a raw, weepy patch that can appear and spread within hours, usually where a dog has licked or scratched one itchy spot into a wound. Our humidity makes them worse. Clipping the fur, keeping it dry and a vet check stop it turning into a deeper infection.
