Plan a visit with your pack

Carrotsticks & Cravings at Robertson Quay is at 7 Rodyk Street, #01-34, beside the Singapore River. The operator’s dog FAQ permits outdoor seating, and Pawwhere describes the area as sheltered. This is a café stop, with a menu aimed at human diners, rather than a dog park or a promise of indoor refuge in rain. Its current homepage lists daily hours of 7.30am to 5pm. The operator welcomes dogs in the outdoor seating area. Indoor entry, size limits and cat conditions are not established by that FAQ. Bring your own water and bowl unless an amenity is explicitly confirmed. Choose a table that leaves the walkway clear and keep your dog with you; an outdoor table is not an off-leash play area.

One of the best places where I’ve ever been (I visited 57 countries so I visited a lot of places :)): a special atmosphere, many tables to serve a lot of people, dog friendly, family oriented. I think I’ve never seen so many children and dogs in one place at the same time in Singapore! :) For children is a real paradise since they find here many toys, cars, areas to play. Dishes and drinks were so delicious and healthy what is important for me. We tried açaí berry bowl, art beets salad (asked to replace feta by goat cheese and add additional avocado), Gluten-free Sourdough bread, Berry boost & Green collagen smoothies. Salad is pretty big so all food and drinks I mentioned are great for 2 people to be full. Ingredients were really fresh and made an incredible tasty food. Staff is very friendly and positive. Especially Zul: thank you for helping to choose the best food and drinks for us! Really amazing spot to visit when you are in Singapore and don’t take care of quality and taste of food.

Lovely spot right near our hotel within walking distance. Had great coffee and a nice selection of baked goods and desserts in the window which we enjoyed. Seated outside but partly covered which was great as it was lightly raining when we visited. Did not wait too long for the coffees either.

TLDR version: limited gluten-free options+ overpriced meal I chose this place for lunch due to the gluten-free options on their menu. When I arrived, they said they didn't have any gluten-free bread as it's too expensive. A simple act of consideration from the restaurant would be to change their online menu to reflect this so customers don't waste their time. It's exceedingly difficult to find good gluten-free food here as someone with celiac's disease. I got the matcha cheesecake (GF) and keto chicken avocado salad (GF). While the cheesecake was good and worth the affordable price, the salad was extremely mediocre for the cost. Most of your $26 is going towards iceberg lettuce and vinegar. The dressing was way too tart for a lettuce salad (proportion of vinegar to oil was unnecessarily high) and the salad contained less than a palm-full of dry and bland slices of chicken. Barely 1/4 of an avocado was on the salad as well. As a restaurant that proports "super-food packed bowls" and meals for every kind of lifestyle (with many diets mentioned), it was quite disappointing.

Food was top notch. Very good set of options for vegetarians. We ordered a House Breakfast, a Caprese toastie, an Eggplant sandwich and a Chicken salad. House breakfast looked yummy, and had good variety. Would have been usually my choice but wanted to try a sandwich today. Anyway but for the plenty spinach, house breakfast tasted fine too. Chicken salad was good. The nice touch was keeping the sous vide chicken separate. So vegetarians can also have the salad if needed.. Could have done with a bit more dressing but I'm not complaining, the health conscious me is a bit less guilty. Eggplant sandwich was brilliant. Sourdough the right amount of crispy, auberigines roasted perfectly and paired with boiled egg and fresh Harissa.. Everyone on the table loved it. Their bakery items were also first class. Croissant was soft and yummy. We ordered 2. Drinks could have been better. The shakes and Iced Mocha were okayish. Maybe too chocolaty but not sweet enough. I had a chai latte and that was good though. Seating is a bit tricky. Open seating and no reservation , and the place seems to be crowded most of the morning..lucky that we came in around 12, found an open table.. Overall great experience, Brunch overlooking the waterfront, doggos nearby and a gentle breeze. What's not to like.
