A little heads-up before you go
  • The operator’s indexed 2025 opening announcement explicitly described a pet-welcoming PLQ3 outlet with indoor and alfresco seating, but did not specify which seats permit pets. Its current branch page confirms the location and contact. The old announcement file now returns 404 directly, so ask the branch to confirm current pet seating rather than treating the historical announcement as a fresh policy or indoor permission.

Peperoni Pizzeria at PLQ3 is at 2 Tanjong Katong Road, #01-09, beside the Parkside area. Its operator’s opening announcement described the outlet as pet-welcoming, but did not define the permitted pet seating. The current branch page lists WhatsApp contact 9712 2030; use it to confirm an appropriate dog table and any size or leash conditions before booking. Weekday service is split between lunch and dinner, while weekend service runs through the afternoon, with closing times varying by day. Do not assume that indoor seats shown on the website are available to dogs. Bring your own water, and ask where your dog can settle safely if the alfresco area is busy.

We had a quick dinner with my family of 3. Ordered Hawaiian pizza, mushroom soup and baby back ribs. Food served was fast. The foods were ok. Nothing special. Ordered 1 jug of beer too. Environment was quite simple. Overall experience just at par.

It was one of those Sunday nights where I had no idea what I wanted to have for dinner, so I started goggling out new places to eat around my area and came across Peperoni Pizza across the road. Since I don't recall seeing this place in the area before, figured that this would be an opportunity to try a new place. Given that they put their name on a menu item (as opposed to pepperoni), I figured that I will try these items for my inaugural visit, the Diavola (Pepperoni Pizza) and the Peperoni Sunset, finished off with a tiramisu. Walking up to the restaurant, I was surprised that it was a full house and only counter seating was available. Is this because they are newly opened since July this year? I wouldn't know, time will tell. Given the crowd, service was fast and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. OK, so some reviews have mentioned the price vs serving quantity , however, for me, factoring the cost of goods and operational costs in todays FnB environment in Singapore and compared to various other Italian restaurants that I frequent, I personally feel that the prices are reasonable for what it is. My only gripe was that the pizza dough was more of a flatbread like texture versus the semolina texture that I am more used too. Having said that, the overall flavor and texture of the pizza met my expectations (again, this is price vs quality vs quantity). The beverage was more of a non-alcoholic version of a Tequila Sunrise, definitely no complaints from me, good mix of taste and flavors across the board. Splurged on a Tiramisu. I was surprised on the portion size, bigger then I am used too, but I attribute that to a sharing size. The flavor of the coffee was strong and there was definitely the flavor of mascarpone, but from the color, I am guessing that its an eggless tiramisu as it did not have the tinge of yellow from the zabaglione. What drew me to the Tiramisu was it indicated the use of Kahlua and Marsala wine, which is rare. The flavors of the alcohol were understated, perhaps masked by the strong coffee flavor. What I did find strange was the drizzle of strawberry puree with the blueberries and strawberry fruits accompanying the dessert. Maybe I'm a traditionalist and have always believed that a Tiramisu should be served on its own, at most with a sprinkle of 90% cocoa shavings to give it height and the bitterness to offset the sweetness. But, with respect to chef, each has their own interpretation and plating styles. Would I go back again, yes, there are many other dishes that I want to try which are not mainstream dishes found in your typical run of the mill 'Italian' restaurants.
