Yishun HDB ground-floor clinic; mixed clientele, including the occasional cockatiel in for nail clipping.
What this clinic is specifically known for is small-animal and avian/exotic care; one of the few northern clinics happy to see birds, reptiles, and pocket pets alongside dogs. The team is exotics-confident general practice; the dog gets the same workup either way. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.
On hours and scope: daytime clinic with extended evening hours. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.
Who this clinic suits: owners in the Yishun (Khatib) catchment who want a primary vet they can stay with for a decade. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is Blk 716 Yishun Street 71, #01-254, Singapore 760716, and the booking line is +65 6853 9397.
The small thing nobody mentions: turn up five minutes early on the first visit, with the puppy in a harness if the harness is fitted yet. The first impression of a clinic is largely formed in the waiting room, not the consult room, and the calmer you are on the way in, the calmer the dog is on the table.

I am incredibly grateful to AAVC - Animal & Aviary Veterinary Clinic for the amazing care they gave to my cockatiel, Uga. I am currently working in Singapore while my bird is in the Philippines being cared for by my sister. Even though we were in a different country, AAVC still accepted my case and helped us without hesitation. That alone already meant so much to me. Uga was not well before, and it took months of proper care. They provided healthy food recommendations, the right medication, and very clear instructions on the feeding process and daily care. I arranged to send the medication to the Philippines, and we followed their advice step by step. Because of their knowledge in avian care, Uga is now healthy and back to being a normal, happy bird. I truly believe she recovered because of their guidance and treatment plan. Thank you to the whole team at AAVC for your kindness, professionalism, and for helping my bird even across distance. I will always be thankful for what you did for Uga. Highly recommended for anyone who truly loves their birds and wants the best veterinary care.

Dr Kenneth is really a gifted doctor. I won't be worried leaving my pets with him without my presence in the clinical room. Because he is that good and assuring. He always makes recommendations with great consideration of the pets and owner, and go the extra miles. Very kind and generous doctor. My pets were well taken care of during all the visits. And the clinic accepts CDC vouchers too. :) Affordable rates with premium service!

I want to sincerely thank Dr Kenneth and his dedicated team for their expertise and care they had given to all of my four fur kids for more than 15 years. Dr Kenneth is truly a vet with a heart, going the extra mile to support and empathise with us during the most difficult moments. I am glad I trusted his opinion and advice because he truly cares and have given the best treatment for all of my fur kids giving them quality of life especially for Muffin, Donut and BonBon in these last 2 years. Many thanks to Dr Kenneth and Team

How this clinic compares nearby
The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Animal & Avian Veterinary Clinic (AAVC) against its closest neighbours on exactly that.
- A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
- In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
- Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.
