lower-stress clinic by design; less stainless-steel coldness, more pheromone diffuser and floor mats.
What this clinic is specifically known for is Fear-Free certified practice; the Yishun arm of a small two-clinic group with a strong behaviour-aware streak. The team is the sort of team that uses lickmats during nail trims and means it. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.
On hours and scope: daily clinic hours; whatsapp consults available. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.
Who this clinic suits: owners in the Yishun catchment who want a primary vet they can stay with for a decade. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is 285 Yishun Ave 6, #01-06, Singapore 760285, and the booking line is +65 6322 7913.
The small thing nobody mentions: turn up five minutes early on the first visit, with the puppy in a harness if the harness is fitted yet. The first impression of a clinic is largely formed in the waiting room, not the consult room, and the calmer you are on the way in, the calmer the dog is on the table.

I recently visited Paws N’ Claws because my guinea pigs just finished their stay at a boarding house. I wanted to ensure they were healthy, so I booked them for a full physical exam. The check-up was very thorough and included an inspection of their teeth, skin, and overall physical condition. I found the pricing to be very reasonable at $50 for two pets. Please note that you must book an appointment in advance. The entire process was quite fast, taking only about one hour from start to finish. Key Details at a Glance • Service: Full physical check-up (Teeth, Skin, General Health) • Price: $50 for 2 guinea pigs • Duration: Approximately 1 hour • Requirement: Appointment is mandatory

I came across Paws N Claws Veterinary on google search as my dog has ingrown nails. He is extremely aggressive when touched and I have called several vets to check whether i can bring him in for medical grooming. Most of the places told me they could try but not guaranteed as my dog is very aggressive. I chatted with one of the staff via whatsapp and she assured me that they could treat my dog as fear free as possible. After returning from the vet, they checked in on my dog to ask about his condition which made me very happy as I could feel the sincerity. My dog is now 10000000x happier than before the visit and I can only thank the staff so much. 😊

If pets could write reviews. Im Oreo, after visiting Paws N' Claws. I'm resting, healing, and getting ready to run again hopefully in few months. Diagnosed with prognosis, I have strong will in reversing the condition. Highly recommended pet clinic and follow-up advise regarding my condition.

How this clinic compares nearby
The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Paws N' Claws Veterinary Surgery (Yishun) against its closest neighbours on exactly that.
- A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
- In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
- Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.

A blank cell reads "Not confirmed". That means the clinic may offer it, but we still need a reliable source before we say so here.
