Tampines Street 11 HDB shopfront; quiet estate vet, the dog meets the neighbours' Singapore Specials in the waiting room.
What this clinic is specifically known for is AVH Animal Ark Tampines; routine and minor surgery for the Tampines catchment. The team is small generalist team. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.
On hours and scope: Mon-Sun 10am - 1pm, 2:00 - 8pm. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.
Who this clinic suits: Tampines, Pasir Ris, and Simei owners who want a clinic close to home. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is 139 Tampines St. 11, #01-54, Singapore 521139, and the booking line is +65 6587 1797.
The small thing nobody mentions: the unit is one row back from Tampines Mart; come in via the carpark, not the main road frontage.

Dr Joyce Lauw was exceptional - highly experienced, attentive, and incredibly thorough. The nurses kindly accommodated our urgent request even though we had never visited before, understanding that our dog was low on energy and appetite. Upon arrival, Dr Joyce quickly and accurately diagnosed pyometra (uterine infection) and advised that emergency surgery was necessary to prevent the risk of rupture. Her calm, clear explanation gave us immense confidence during a very stressful situation. The surgery went smoothly, and seeing our dog smiling again during recovery was such a relief. Follow-up care was perfectly planned by the nurses, and the entire team was detailed, caring, and professional throughout. We are extremely grateful for Dr Joyce’s quick thinking, attention to detail, and the team’s excellent care.

Im a 1st time cat mummy.. Got worried when we found out Simba got fleas a few days aftr we picked him up so I Called a few clinics for walk in today.. Unfortunately that it's all appt based, which I understand cos this is a non emergency case.. So when AVH said I could walk in tday I was so happy.. Dr Joyce was so experienced and gentle with Simba, he didnt even flinched when he got injected.. The staffs there are friendly and knowledgeable.. I had no regrets.. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

First time visiting this vet and it’ll be my go-to vet from now on! Everybody was so great. The attending doctor was also so cheery (sorry I didn’t get her name!) and it was just good vibes all around. Even my cat felt so comfortable - he was purring all the way. Definitely recommend you to bring your pets here, you’ll be well taken care of.

How this clinic compares nearby
The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is AVH Animal Ark - Tampines against its closest neighbours on exactly that.
- A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
- In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
- Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.
