Havelock Road shopfront opposite the river, the kind of front door that looks like nothing and turns out to be everything.
What this clinic is specifically known for is long-established Tiong Bahru clinic with a generalist team that has been seeing the same families for years; routine medicine and minor surgery done without fuss. The team is small permanent team, low staff turnover, the receptionist knows the dog before the file is opened. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.
On hours and scope: Mon-Fri 9.30am - 12.30pm, 2:30 - 5pm, 6:30 - 8.30pm; Sat 9.30am - 12.30pm, 2:30 - 5pm; Sun Closed. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.
Who this clinic suits: Tiong Bahru, River Valley, and Robertson Quay owners who want a steady relationship more than a hospital experience. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is 22 Havelock Rd, #01-687, Singapore 160022, and the booking line is +65 6276 7026.
The small thing nobody mentions: the entrance is at the back of the shopfront row; the trick is the small flight of steps; carry small dogs up rather than letting them haul on the lead.

After years of searching, I was finally recommended to Dr Wang of Town Vets by my friend. I was seeking a vet who genuinely cared about the wellbeing of my dogs and was patient enough to explore options instead of phoning in and going through the motions. Currently, my three dogs (Chula, Delphi and Bingo) are under the care of Dr Wang and team. They have also consulted with Dr Loke who is also outstanding. The key differentiator between Town Vets and other partitioners is their approach to communication and service. Detailed post-consultation notes, including observations, treatment done, medication dispensed and care tips are shared very quickly after each visit via Telegram. In addition, the extended team is very engaging and quick to respond to enquiries. It is evident that everyone who works at Town Vets enjoys being around animals and it looks like a conducive environment to be around! On occasion, treats for humans and pets are displayed at reception which is a nice touch. We were also gifted a bag of treats by the vivacious Khartini! Whilst this review is long overdue (I’ve been a customer for two years or so), I hope it helps other pet owners find their forever vet. Kudos to Kai, Neil, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Woon Yong, Syakur and the rest of the team for the amazing work they do everyday!

The best vet clinic ever. The doctors, nurses and receptionists are amazing people. Friendly, helpful and supportive. Momo has been going here 4 years and counting. He prefers the vet room as opposed to the waiting area 😂 The vets will provide treats to ensure it is a positive experience. The clinic follow ups via telegram (the greatest) after appointments. I would travel down just for this clinic. Momo is the most relaxed at this clinic. We’ve had to come for multiple visits (vaccinations, kennel cough, ring worm, sterilisation and dental scaling) so we are really grateful to have found an amazing go-to clinic for help.

I am very happy with the service received. As a first time owner of a feline, the staff at the counter were helpful, the wait time was short (please make an appointment) and the doctor was very patient and understanding of the situation. It made me feel very comfortable. They also offered me a service to trim my cat's nails which I gladly accept. I was also taught how to feed my cat medication. Before I left, they told me that if I had any questions, I could simply message them for free. I will definitely go back to this vet if my cat has issues again. (hopefully not)

How this clinic compares nearby
The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Town Vets against its closest neighbours on exactly that.
- A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
- In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
- Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.

A blank cell reads "Not confirmed". That means the clinic may offer it, but we still need a reliable source before we say so here.
