Before choosing an individual dog

The shortlist uses editorial weights and stored breed profiles, not a validated compatibility test or a quote. Confirm housing eligibility, meet the individual dog and ask the rescue about daily care, behaviour and health.

No dog breed is reliably allergy-free. Low shedding does not mean low allergen exposure. AAAAI pet allergy guidance.
