HDB ground-floor clinic with the calm of an established neighbourhood practice; nothing showy, everything in the right place.
What this clinic is specifically known for is the Bedok-south arm of the Mount Pleasant group, established 2008, covering Bedok, Pasir Ris, and Tampines. The team is general practice with full referral access to the chain's central hospitals when surgery or imaging is needed. At the consultation, ask what the findings mean, which options are available and what should prompt a follow-up.
On hours and scope: mon-fri 9.30am-7pm; sat-sun 9.30am-5.30pm. This is a routine practice. For middle-of-the-night emergencies (collapse, bloat, suspected poisoning, anything that needs a CT scanner before sunrise), the call is to one of the 24-hour A&E hospitals on the emergency list, not here. For everything else (vaccination planning, sterilisation, the lump you noticed at the weekend, health changes in an older dog), this is the kind of practice that earns long-term trust.
Who this clinic suits: owners in the Bedok catchment who want a primary vet they can stay with for a decade. Ask whether an appointment is required, request an itemised estimate, and confirm any insurance paperwork or direct-billing arrangements before booking. The address is Blk 158 Bedok South Ave 3, #01-577, Singapore 460158, and the booking line is +65 6444 3561.
The small thing nobody mentions: turn up five minutes early on the first visit, with the puppy in a harness if the harness is fitted yet. The first impression of a clinic is largely formed in the waiting room, not the consult room, and the calmer you are on the way in, the calmer the dog is on the table.

You know you’re in good hands when the nurses and doctors are genuinely passionate about what they do. From the moment we arrived, they were patient, attentive, and never dismissive in any way - which was something I truly appreciated, especially after past experiences elsewhere. They took the time to walk me through Snoopy’s surgery and carefully explained all the aftercare steps, making sure every question we had was answered. The care and gentleness they showed towards Snoopy meant a lot to us, and it was clear that his well-being was always their top priority. I would also like to personally thank Dr Jane Chan for being such a sweetheart throughout the entire process. She was incredibly reassuring, addressed all our concerns patiently, and always had Snoopy’s long-term health in mind - something I deeply appreciated. I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated care for their pets. 🐾💛

I’ve been bringing my dog to the Bedok branch for years and have always been very happy with the staff and doctors’ service. Today I’m writing a review because I brought my dog to the clinic after my dog was attacked by another dog. We called them and they gave timely advice and were able to accommodate us immediately without an appointment. The staff treated my dog with so much patience and kindness, and even offered me antiseptic wash for my bite wound while we waited for our consultation. Thank you Mount Pleasant Bedok for the care and hard work ❤️

Dr Jane who saw my cat was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, making sure I fully understood the treatment plan and any necessary medications. I was impressed with their ability to communicate complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand but still thorough. Throughout the appointment, I felt like my cat was in good hands, and I was grateful for the care and attention given to their needs. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top care for their pets. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the clinic is clean and welcoming, and the quality of care is second to none. Thank you for an excellent experience!

How this clinic compares nearby
The things that decide where you actually drive are whether they can see you now, whether they take walk-ins, and whether the tests can be run on site instead of sent away. Here is Mount Pleasant Animal Medical Centre (Bedok) against its closest neighbours on exactly that.
- A&E means the clinic is set up for accident and emergency, not just consults.
- In-house lab and imaging means bloods and X-rays happen in the building, so you get an answer the same visit.
- Price band is a relative guide, not a quoted fee. Ask the clinic for the current consultation price before you travel.
