A drink together can be enjoyable when the setting suits your dog. Compare the actual pet area, current policy and likely noise. This list includes current evidence and clearly qualified historical or unresolved entries, rather than a promise that every venue is open and suitable.

Restaurant . Sembawang
Open now Friday: 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM
This White Restaurant listing is the Sun Plaza branch on level three, not the original Sembawang outlet at Jalan Tampang. The operator distinguishes the two addresses, and the record has been renamed to make your destination clear. White beehoon and shared Chinese dishes are the food offering, but we could not establish dog seating at Sun Plaza. The old description of a shaded outdoor spot with water should not be used to plan a dog outing here. The operator's location directory identifies the stored address as its Sun Plaza branch, at 30 Sembawang Drive, unit 03-12. Its original Sembawang restaurant is separately listed at 22 Jalan Tampang. No branch-specific pet permission or outdoor terrace was established for Sun Plaza. The pet-friendly label in the broader Burpple results belongs to Beaulieu House, not this restaurant. Confirm pet entry with the branch and mall before travelling.
Bringing your dog: Sun Plaza level-three branch; landlord and restaurant pet permission unconfirmed. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Restaurant . Tiong Bahru
Open now Friday: 8:00 AM - 11:15 PM
Merci Marcel Tiong Bahru at 56 Eng Hoon Street, #01-68 offers French cafe dining with outdoor dog seating reported by a local pet directory. The operator distinguishes a glasshouse garden patio from a roadside terrace. Ask which outdoor tables are assigned to pets; the indoor dining room is not covered by the reported welcome. The operator publishes separate breakfast, daytime, brunch and dinner menus, so check the menu for your visit time. Mention your dog when enquiring about a table and allow enough resting space away from the service path. An attractive terrace does not guarantee protection from wind-driven rain or afternoon heat. Bring water and choose a shorter stop if your dog cannot settle.
Bringing your dog: The current operator and linked booking service identify 56 Eng Hoon Street unit 01-68 with Indoor and Patio choices. Confirm a pet-designated table rather than assuming every patio permits dogs. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Restaurant . Kranji
This Picotin record is under an identity review. It previously combined the name of a historical Bukit Timah restaurant with the Kranji address and Google information of Bukit Timah Saddle Club. The published morning and afternoon times are the club’s horse-riding lesson hours, not evidence of breakfast or dinner service. The attached reviews also described riding lessons rather than meals. We have removed that unrelated restaurant-rating and opening-hours information. The former Fairways outlet is reported closed by independent sources, but that does not prove a replacement restaurant operates at the club’s Kranji grounds. Confirm the actual outlet with Picotin before planning a meal with a dog; outdoor access, water and large-dog permission at this address were not substantiated. The record mixed Picotin’s historical Bukit Timah/Fairways restaurant with Bukit Timah Saddle Club at Kranji. The club’s operator identifies the recorded 7-10am and 4-7pm schedule as riding-lesson hours, not restaurant service. Stored reviews discuss riding instructors and horses, confirming that the linked Google entity is the club. Those ratings, reviews, phone and hours have been detached from the restaurant record. A current Picotin operation and pet policy at the Kranji address remain unconfirmed.
Bringing your dog: Restaurant identity and current exact location unconfirmed. No dog outing recommendation. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Restaurant . Hillview
Open now Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
iO Italian Osteria is at HillV2, 4 Hillview Rise, unit 02-01. Its restaurant and booking material describes Italian food including house-made bread, pasta and porchetta, but the sources reviewed did not establish a current dog policy for this Singapore branch. The earlier description promised a dog terrace, large-dog access and supplied water without adequate evidence. Ask the restaurant directly whether your dog can join you, which tables are permitted and whether any size or service restrictions apply. The booking platform warns that special requests are not guaranteed, so a note added to a reservation is not the same as confirmed pet admission. A similarly named Bangkok branch’s pet policy cannot be transferred here. Current Singapore booking/operator material establishes the HillV2 restaurant but did not substantiate pet admission. Search results for a pet-friendly iO branch in Bangkok do not establish the Singapore branch’s policy. An outdoor-seating listing alone is insufficient. Both visiting species, pet seating, large-dog access and water provision require confirmation.
Bringing your dog: Current Singapore booking/operator material establishes the HillV2 restaurant but did not substantiate pet admission. Search results for a pet-friendly iO branch in Bangkok do not establish the Singapore branch’s policy. An outdoor-seating listing alone is insufficient. Both visiting species, pet seating, large-dog access and water provision require confirmation. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

Restaurant . Robertson Quay
Open now Friday: 12:00 - 2:30 PM, 5:30 - 10:00 PM
Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse serves sharing steaks and Italian dishes in a heritage shophouse at 26 Mohamed Sultan Road. Its booking page lists lunch Tuesday to Sunday and dinner daily, with earlier dinner sittings on Friday to Sunday. Before making a reservation with your dog, contact the team on 8298 1021 to establish whether dogs are admitted at all, and which tables would be available. The reviewed operator and booking information does not confirm a dog terrace, water bowls or size rules. A normal table reservation is not permission to bring a dog. Check the cancellation terms before securing a table, since they vary with the day and type of booking.
Bringing your dog: Pet admission and exact permitted seating remain unconfirmed. Obtain operator confirmation before travelling with a dog. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Cafe . Changi
Open now Friday: 4:00 - 10:00 PM
Stella Seaside Lounge at 11 Changi Coast Walk offers designated outdoor pet seating. Its Sofa Lounge booking is unsheltered, and the operator cannot guarantee a covered replacement if it rains. Dogs must stay leashed, and a mat or towel is required on furniture. Weekend and public-holiday sofa bookings have a S$150++ minimum spend per sofa; check the precise terms before reserving, including cancellation and cleaning charges. Choose a visit that suits your dog’s tolerance for an exposed coastal setting, bring water and an exit plan, and do not assume the pet invitation covers every dining area or pool.
Bringing your dog: Designated pet-friendly outdoor zones only, subject to availability. Sofa lounges unsheltered. Leash required, mat or towel for furniture, no guaranteed sheltered replacement in rain. Read current sofa/group booking terms. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Restaurant . Holland Village
Open now Friday: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Wala Wala’s official FAQ welcomes dogs in its outdoor area, so specify an outside table rather than booking generic seating. The venue combines food and drinks with live music, which is worth considering if your dog is sensitive to busy surroundings. Confirm table availability and the music schedule before travelling. Outdoor access is supported by the operator; cover from rain, water bowls and permission to move indoors are not established by that policy.
Bringing your dog: Wala Wala’s official FAQ explicitly welcomes dogs and cats in the outdoor area. Request an outdoor table when reserving. Indoor pet admission and guaranteed shelter are not established by that welcome. Source (checked 2026-10-24).

Restaurant . Dempsey
Open now Friday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
RedDot BrewHouse describes itself as pet-friendly and offers a craft-brewery dining setting. That supports considering it for a shared outing, with the exact seating area and individual handling conditions still to be arranged. Before booking, ask exactly where the pet table is, whether it is covered in wet weather and what leash or carrier arrangements apply. A pet-friendly label alone does not establish water bowls, a pet menu, unrestricted indoor access or a verified welfare standard.
Bringing your dog: General operator pet welcome at Dempsey; exact pet table, indoor/outdoor boundary, restraint and weather arrangements require confirmation when reserving. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Restaurant . Paya Lebar
Open now Friday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
The Tipsy Bird is the gastrobar at 1 Paya Lebar Link, #01-08, with independent pet coverage describing access in its sheltered outdoor section. It offers a drinks-and-dining stop rather than a dedicated dog play space. Ask the team for a suitable outdoor table and check the evening entertainment or expected crowd before bringing a noise-sensitive dog. Keep the lead close, leave service routes clear and carry water instead of relying on an unverified bowl service. Indoor access and unrestricted large-dog admission have not been established. Confirm current opening and kitchen hours through the operator’s linked profile when planning a late visit.
Bringing your dog: Independent branch coverage reports pet access in the sheltered outdoor section. The operator’s linked profile remains associated with the Bird venue. Cat admission, indoor pet access, water bowls, a pet menu and size conditions are not confirmed by the reviewed sources. Evening music and crowd conditions should be checked rather than describing the venue as reliably tranquil. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

Restaurant . Robertson Quay
Open now Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 AM
Boomarang Bistro and Bar is at 60 Robertson Quay, #01-15 The Quayside, with Australian-style dining and sports screenings beside the river. Independent pet coverage describes sheltered outdoor areas for visiting dogs. The operator currently advertises daily service from 6am to 3am, with the kitchen taking last orders at 2:30am, making a quieter early visit an option to ask about. Contact the team before a major match or a large-group outing to check outdoor-table availability and space for your dog. Bring water and keep your dog close without blocking the walkway. Shelter does not guarantee cool conditions, and indoor seating is not an established pet alternative.
Bringing your dog: Independent branch coverage supports visiting dogs in sheltered outdoor areas. The operator confirms the Robertson Quay sports bistro and its long service hours. The reviewed information does not establish indoor pet access, cat-specific admission, size rules or a guaranteed water-bowl service. Sports screenings mean the atmosphere cannot be promised quiet. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

Restaurant . Clarke Quay
Open now Friday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Brewerkz Riverside Point is at 30 Merchant Road, #01-07, overlooking the Singapore River near Clarke Quay. Independent branch coverage supports dogs at the alfresco tables and explicitly distinguishes that area from indoor seating. The operator lists daily opening from noon to midnight, with food last orders earlier: 9:30pm Sunday to Thursday and public holidays, or 10pm on Friday, Saturday and public-holiday eves. Ask for a suitable outdoor table and confirm the dog arrangement when booking on 9011 9408. Bring your own water and check how much shade the actual table has. A riverside setting can be lively, so allow space for pedestrians and leave if your dog is unsettled.
Bringing your dog: Current exact-branch dog seating needs operator confirmation. Outdoor capacity in an events kit is not pet access permission. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Cafe . Changi Village
Open now Friday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Little Island Brewing Co at Changi Village combines craft beer, food and a large outdoor setting. Its own published pet rules are unusually specific: dogs may accompany owners in the outdoor refreshment area, must stay leashed and within the allocated space, and must stay off chairs and tables. Tell the venue you are bringing a dog when reserving so it can assign a suitable table. The published policy offers free water but says pet food is not served. Check the current branch schedule rather than the old blanket 4pm-weekday claim, and consider music or crowd levels before choosing a service. Changi’s outdoor permission should not be confused with reports about indoor access at another branch. The operator’s published Changi rules explicitly admit owned dogs and cats to the outdoor refreshment area. Pets must remain restrained, dogs leashed, off furniture and within the assigned space; tell the venue about pets when reserving. The policy says free water and no pet food. It is a November 2022 policy still published by the operator, not a newly issued regulatory approval. Check current service hours and any changed conditions.
Bringing your dog: Changi Village outdoor refreshment seating only. Notify staff when reserving; keep pets restrained and off furniture. Confirm the assigned table and current operation before travelling. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

Cafe . Gillman Barracks
Open now Friday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Handlebar is the biker-themed bar at 10 Lock Road in Gillman Barracks, with Western bar food and a substantial outdoor setting. Independent visitor and pet-directory coverage supports bringing a dog outside. Ask which table has suitable floor space and shelter; an indoor-seating label on one directory is not clear evidence that dogs may use the air-conditioned room. The operator now lists Monday service from 4pm, so the old claim that it is closed every Monday is wrong. Other daily hours also differ across directories. Check the current operator schedule and any event before travelling, particularly if motorcycle activity, music or a lively crowd would unsettle your dog. Bring water rather than relying on a previous visitor being offered some. Species-specific listings support dogs and cats at the Gillman Barracks business, with strongest consistent evidence for outdoor seating. One directory also labels indoor seating but does not establish the scope of pet permission there. The current operator lists Monday opening from 4pm, contradicting old Monday-closed claims. Water provision and unrestricted dog sizes are not current guarantees.
Bringing your dog: Adrian Watkins confirms visits with Smeegles, covered seating, large cooling fans, welcoming staff, water brought for dogs, great food and live bands. Firsthand account supplied 3 October 2026; individual visit dates not supplied. Source (checked 2026-10-03).

Cafe . Clarke Quay
Open now Friday: 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM
Zorba The Greek Taverna describes itself as pet-friendly and offers a riverside Greek dining spot.
Bringing your dog: Pet-friendly riverside dining. Request the allocated dog table. Indoor access, cat arrangements, size, water, shelter and pet-menu terms remain unconfirmed. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

This former pick can no longer welcome your dog. Follow the link for the latest visiting details.
Noise, close contact, floor space and the particular event matter more than whether a venue calls itself a cafe, bar or brewery. We have not personally tested every table. Use the individual source notes below to distinguish established pet areas from older claims that could not be supported.
Little Island Brewing Changi and Wala Wala publish outdoor pet rules. Brewerkz Riverside Point and Handlebar have branch-specific independent outdoor evidence. RedDot and Zorba publish a general welcome, but their exact pet seating needs confirmation. Do not turn a courtyard or a waterfront location into a promise of space, shade or quiet.
This is the one list on the site where the honest advice is that many dogs should stay home. A confident, well-socialised dog that genuinely enjoys a relaxed crowd can have a fine evening at an open-air bar. A dog who finds crowds, close contact or noise difficult may not enjoy the visit. That calls for a different plan, not a judgement about the dog. Be honest about which one you have. Watch changes in your dog’s behaviour in context, including attempts to hide or move away. Stay able to supervise and leave promptly if the setting is stressful. Dropped food and broken glass are real hazards at foot level on a busy terrace, Keep your dog controlled and follow the venue’s conditions.
SFA’s rules distinguish eligible outdoor refreshment areas from other food premises. Do not assume either that every terrace admits pets or that no indoor licensed pet venue can exist. Hawker-centre restrictions still apply. Smith Street Taps, inside Chinatown Complex Food Centre, is not an exception. Respect the exact permitted area and the venue’s conditions. Offer an appropriate walk or toilet opportunity beforehand, without trying to exhaust your dog into tolerating the setting, bring water because no bartender is watching the bowl, keep the lead short and the dog clear of the bar and the walkways, and never tie a dog up and leave it while you order. Pick the quieter early-evening hours over a packed weekend night, and if the terrace fills past the point where your dog has a clear, safe patch of floor, finish your drink and move on. More open-air options sit in our places directory, and assess your individual dog’s comfort rather than treating a breed description as a behaviour prediction.
Ask about the specific date, music, sports screenings and pet table. An early time can still be busy, hot or noisy. Bring water, keep the dog clear of service routes and leave if the space becomes uncomfortable. Fatigue does not guarantee calm. Find alternatives in the places directory.
The former Chip Bee Da Paolo Pizza Bar is not a current terrace recommendation. Smith Street Taps is inside a hawker centre, where ordinary pets are excluded. White Restaurant Sun Plaza, HillV2 iO, Bistecca and the historical Picotin record do not have substantiated current pet admission in the reviewed evidence. Retained records explain the correction; they are not endorsements of those venues as dog destinations.
Choose a visit you can shorten and organise safe transport home. There is no universally suitable sundowner hour or number of drinks. A designated responsible handler should remain able to control and care for the dog. Keep alcohol out of reach, and make leaving promptly part of the plan rather than waiting for the evening to end.
Watch what your dog can reach, because a bar floor is a minefield a dog will happily explore. Dropped chicken bones, skewers, spilled cocktails with who-knows-what in them, and broken glass all sit at nose height, and a curious dog hoovering the ground under a table is a vet visit waiting to happen. Keep the lead short enough that the dog stays on its mat rather than ranging under neighbouring tables, scan your own patch when you sit down, and move if the spot you are given is strewn with the last group's mess. Normal meals and suitable activity do not remove the need for supervision. Even a recently fed dog may investigate dropped food; keep unsuitable items out of reach and leave a hazardous area.
For a meal or date, confirm the actual pet seating and booking terms. Stella’s sofa lounges are unsheltered and have a weekend/public-holiday minimum spend in the reviewed terms. Wala Wala names outdoor pet access; RedDot’s exact area needs clarification. Tipsy Bird has sheltered-outdoor reporting, while Boomarang sports screenings can affect the atmosphere. Book around those details, not a generic promise that golden hour will be pleasant.
SFA outdoor dining and hawker-centre guidance; STB location of Smith Street Taps; Dogs Trust noise-fear guidance. Venue-policy and handling corrections reviewed 13 September 2026; individual current venue notes take precedence over older general recommendations.
Overview reconciled with the individually researched venue records on 17 September 2026. Original publication date retained; no new personal inspection is claimed.
