Best dog-friendly staycations in Singapore: an owner's guide to a night away (2026)

Compare the actual pet package, permitted room and shared-space rules before booking. This shortlist combines existing UDO entries with the Dog-Friendly SG choices, keeping package limitations visible. A hotel appearing here does not mean that every room, restaurant or animal is accepted.

  1. A calm dog resting on a soft cream rug in a warm-lit corner of Capella Singapore in Sentosa, Singapore.

    Hotel . Sentosa

    Capella Singapore

    4.7 (2,754 reviews)

Open now Friday: Open 24 hours

Capella Singapore permits one small-to-medium pet per room or villa, approximately up to 15 kg. Dogs feature explicitly in its stay information; cat acceptance needs direct confirmation. Pets can accompany owners in most outdoor common areas and the alfresco seating at Fiamma, Cassia and Bob's Bar. Indoor dining, The Living Room, function spaces, Auriga Spa, pools, pool decks, in-villa plunge pools and The Pineapple Room are excluded. Keep your pet accompanied and leashed outside the room, and never leave them unattended. Arrange housekeeping while the pet is out or while you remain with it secured. The hotel shuttle requires an appropriate carrier, not just a leash. Beds and bowls are provided; partnership treats depend on availability. Confirm a suitable outdoor dining table and any charges before arrival.

Bringing your dog: One pet per room or villa, approximately up to 15 kg; accompanied and leashed outside, never unattended. Cats are not explicitly named and need confirmation. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

  2. Dog enjoying time at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Singapore Novena by IHG in Singapore.

    Hotel . Novena

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Singapore Novena by IHG

    4.7 (3,035 reviews)

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Singapore Novena at 201 Balestier Road explicitly welcomes dogs and cats. Its IHG page lists up to two pets and a 25 kg weight limit; ask whether that limit applies per animal. The Pet Getaway includes one pet, welcome amenities, breakfast for two, parking and a S$30 dining credit. The page describes ordinary pet charges as S$180 before tax per pet per night and a second-pet charge of S$100 before tax per night, while another display shows S$216 nightly. Obtain a dated all-in quotation rather than treating those displays as identical. Confirm the eligible room, supervision, housekeeping and dining access before booking. The hotel pool and indoor restaurant are not established as pet-accessible merely because rooms accept pets. Call +65 6355 9988 for your dates and animals.

Bringing your dog: Approved pet guest accommodation under the confirmed booking terms. IHG lists two pets and a 25kg limit; confirm the applicable room, weight calculation, total charge and supervision arrangements. Dining and pool access remain unconfirmed. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

  3. Dog enjoying time at Conrad Singapore Orchard in Singapore.

    Hotel . Orchard

    Conrad Singapore Orchard

    4.6 (799 reviews)

Conrad Singapore Orchard promotes stays with dogs and cats, with personalised in-room check-in, pet beds and toys. Its official page welcomes leashed pets at Mercatino's outdoor seating and offers an in-room pet menu. This is more than a spare pavement table, but it does not make every restaurant or leisure facility pet-accessible. Confirm your room, animal numbers, vaccination documents, supervision and all charges before booking. External listings disagree on the weight rule: some report a combined 34 kg while others give 17 kg per pet or another limit. We cannot treat the old combined-weight claim as verified current policy. Ask the hotel to put the applicable limit and cleaning fee in your confirmation. A package dining credit is not a guarantee that every meal or pet charge is included.

Bringing your dog: Official pet-stay page shows both dog and cat welcome; Mercatino outdoor dining confirmed. Exact current weight/cleaning terms need confirmation because external listings conflict. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

  4. A calm dog resting on a soft cream rug in a warm-lit corner of QT Singapore in Bras Basah / Beach Road, Singapore.

    Hotel . Robinson Road

    QT Singapore

    4.6 (332 reviews)

QT Singapore lists dog-friendly rooms among its accommodation options on the official hotel page. Book the appropriate room category and tell the hotel about your dog before paying. Room admission does not establish access to restaurants, the rooftop or every shared area. Ask for the current pet fee, number and size limits, and whether your dog may be left in the room before planning the stay.

Bringing your dog: Official Singapore hotel page lists dog-friendly rooms. Cat admission, restaurant access, fees and individual booking conditions require separate confirmation. Source (checked 2026-09-12).

  5. Two dogs on a bed in Amara Sanctuary's official Pampered Paws photograph

    Hotel . Sentosa

    Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa

    4.3 (4,816 reviews)

Open now Friday: Open 24 hours

Amara Sanctuary offers dog stays through Pampered Paws in selected suites and villas. Book that package in advance, check its non-refundable terms and confirm shared-area access. The package and general FAQ differ on dining access. 15 September 2026: explicit dog/cat packages confirmed. Package and FAQ dining wording differs; cat second-pet price is S$100++ in package versus S$150++ in FAQ. Public copy labels both conflicts.

Bringing your dog: Booked Pampered Paws accommodation in the specified suite/villa types. Leash outside the room; no gym, pool, spa or indoor dining. Obtain written confirmation of any outdoor dining access because the operator FAQ and offer disagree. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

  6. Swimming pool, sun loungers and palm trees at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa at sunset.

    Hotel . Sentosa

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

    4.4 (7,215 reviews)

Sofitel Sentosa welcomes dogs of all sizes through its FurKid Retreat, with restaurant access at alfresco tables. Check the exact room, pet count, extras and restrictive cancellation terms before paying. Outdoor dining permission does not mean indoor dining or swimming-pool access. Official FurKid Retreat welcomes dogs of all sizes. One-pet wording also lists an additional-pet fee of SGD120++ nightly: confirm maximum number and total cost. Offer is prepaid, non-refundable and non-amendable. Cat acceptance appears in secondary listings but is not explicit in the reviewed operator offer.

Bringing your dog: Booked FurKid Retreat accommodation and restaurant alfresco areas only. Public-area leash or carrier required. Confirm pet count, room availability, fees and exclusions directly. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

  7. Dog enjoying time at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong by IHG in Singapore.

    Hotel . Katong

Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong by IHG

    4.6 (1,495 reviews)

Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong offers a specific Pet Getaway stay for one dog weighing up to 10 kg. Book that package at least two days before arrival; if it is unavailable, the official page directs you to call or email the hotel. An ordinary room reservation should not be assumed to include permission for your dog. The property at 86 East Coast Road has a heritage-inspired setting, but the hotel's pool, restaurant and other guest amenities are not automatically pet-accessible. Confirm permitted routes, dining arrangements, supervision rules and the total charge in writing before paying. The pet policy explicitly permits dogs only. The previous cat-welcome description was incorrect. Contact +65 6723 7001 for the exact package and your dog's suitability. Only one dog, up to 10 kg, under Pet Getaway booked at least two days ahead. The official listing says only dogs, so cats are excluded.

Bringing your dog: Guest room under the Pet Getaway package, one dog up to 10kg, booked at least two days ahead. Outside the room keep the dog accompanied and leashed or in a carrier; confirm permitted routes and dining areas. Cats are excluded by the published policy. Source (checked 2026-10-30).

  8. Dog enjoying time at Oasia Resort Sentosa in Singapore.

    Hotel . Sentosa

    Oasia Resort Sentosa

    4.2 (1,887 reviews)

Oasia Resort Sentosa welcomes dogs through its Paw-fect Retreat in a Courtyard Premier room with outdoor deck. The current offer has no dog weight limit and allows a second dog for an extra charge. Plan meals and activities around the public-area restrictions, rather than expecting access to every hotel facility. Paw-fect Retreat is dogs only, with no weight limit. Maximum two dogs; second dog SGD83.93 nett per stay. Pool, gym, spa and indoor Bedrock Origin are excluded. Book the specific website offer; inclusions and availability can change.

  9. Dog enjoying time at Civil Service Club @ Loyang (Former Aloha Loyang) in Singapore.

Hotel . Loyang / Pasir Ris

Civil Service Club @ Loyang (Former Aloha Loyang)

    4.2 (1,707 reviews)

CSC @ Loyang offers a genuine indoor staycation option with four designated dog-friendly bungalows: Sea View 140, 141 and 142, and Garden 143. The official page describes four bedrooms per unit, living and dining space, a kitchen and a sheltered BBQ pit, plus a common dog run, washing point and beach access. Check-in is listed as 3pm and checkout as 10.30am. This permission does not cover every chalet or facility. The occupancy display includes separate daytime and overnight figures for people and dogs; confirm the dog limits and your guest plan when booking. Ask which shared areas dogs can use and whether the beach access carries further rules. Rates depend on the booking, so obtain the current total rather than relying on a generic resort price. Dog permission applies to designated Sea View units 140, 141 and 142 and Garden unit 143, not every CSC chalet. Confirm daytime and overnight dog limits, charges and site boundaries. Cat acceptance is not stated.

What kind of stay will suit your dog?

A hotel stay might be a holiday together or a practical base during work at home. Start with your dog’s routine: where you will go for toilet breaks, how you will reach the room, and which meals or outings you can share. Resort grounds do not automatically allow pets everywhere, and a low-floor room does not guarantee a nearby permitted exit. Request the actual route before booking.

Compare the room and package, not just the hotel

Hotel Indigo Katong’s reviewed Pet Getaway is for one dog up to 10kg and needs advance booking. Oasia’s Paw-fect Retreat is dogs only, with up to two dogs under its package conditions and exclusions for the pool, gym, spa and indoor Bedrock Origin. Capella limits pet numbers and size and requires accompaniment. These examples show why a pet-friendly label alone is not enough.

Resolve conflicts in writing before paying

Amara has explicit dog and cat packages, but its package and FAQ disagree on some dining and second-cat pricing. Sofitel welcomes dogs of all sizes in the FurKid offer while its additional-pet wording needs confirmation of the maximum number and total charge. Conrad’s current external weight and cleaning terms conflict; ask the hotel. The records below retain the precise source notes. Do not treat an unclear condition as the most generous option.

Ask these questions with your dates

Give the hotel your pet’s species, weight and number. Confirm the specific room or package, nightly versus per-stay fees, deposit, taxes, cancellation terms and whether pets may ever be left alone. Ask which lifts, exits, restaurants, lawns and seating areas are permitted. A room booking does not grant dog swimming rights. At CSC Loyang, dog access applies to designated units rather than every chalet.

Pack for a comfortable, manageable night

Bring familiar bedding if permitted, usual food, bowls, water, waste bags, medication and what you need for cleaning paws. Familiar objects may help, but they do not guarantee that a dog will settle. Plan an easy first evening and keep an alternative if the room or routine is unsuitable. Do not leave your dog unattended simply because another hotel once allowed it. Keep identification and contact details current.

Plan the outings around your base

Use the day-out planner for nearby options and the hotel directory to compare records. Check each destination’s current pet policy separately. A cool-looking garden or sunset terrace can still be uncomfortable, so shorten or change the plan when conditions call for it. The cost guide can help you include transport and pet charges in the budget.

Quick answers

Does a dog-friendly hotel accept every pet?
No. Species, size, pet number, room and package conditions vary. Confirm your own booking in writing.
Can I leave my dog alone in the room?
Check the specific policy and your dog’s needs. Some properties require accompaniment. Do not assume another hotel’s rules apply.
Can my dog use the hotel pool?
Room admission does not establish pool permission. Ask about the exact facility and do not use it with your dog unless explicitly permitted.

Additional choices retained from Dog-Friendly SG
